It is easy for me to identify with Festivals of Light. As a Humanist, I believe in celebrating our inner human light which inspires us to do justice and create a more compassionate world out of the rather brutal one nature handed us. So Happy Hanukkah, all! Light those candles--literally or metaphorically. Or both.

We're doing Hannukah this year, but probably only for the latkes.
Latkes are the key to human happiness.
